Fortunately this week’s assignments did not take too long to complete. Though I find it somewhat irritating to make links to everything but thanks to handy dandy copy and paste a lot of the trouble was eliminated.
I was really dreading this week’s assignment because I had heard it was so hard and so time consuming to “tie the threads”. This did not take me that long at all so I was really relieved to know that I was dreading this for nothing. I really like my web page much better now that things are in order and all tied to together in a logical way. It makes it much easier to find what I am looking for and to link to different places. I still have some editing to do so that is still ahead of me but I printed out all of the comments on a single work document so that is all together in one place and I can begin making the proper changes.
I also found out this week that I am an awful peer reviewer. I basically didn’t ever comment on the content of the material, all I commented on is editing things. I guess I have a lot of improvement to do in this area.

This week ha been a rather relaxing week for cd315. it was so nice to get away from my project for a while because it has been constantly there for too long now. This week has been focused on my preface, acknowledgements, and about the author. I am having a really hard time with the about the author section, it is so hard to come up with things to say about myself. I looked at Mrs. McComas' and it was really good. I am thinking about doing something like that but I cannot come up with anything at all. I am always at a loss when it comes to myself. So far all I have is I am a senior in the undergratuate communication disorder department and Marshall University, that is a pretty slow start. It is nice to know that I do not have to come up with anymore genres but it is always hard to edit things to get them to the level that you want them to be at. Sometimes it is easy to get lost in the mess of editing and edit peices of work to something completely different, and actually I am very bad about doing that. It is so helpful to get input form my group members so I have an idea of where to start when doing my rewriting work.

This week I completed another genre. I am going to use my PowerPoint as my unifying genre and since I already did that as a previous genre I am doing an email exchange as my seventh genre and then going to redo my PowerPoint presentation as the unifying genre. I am glad that this is finally coming together but now it looks as if we still have a lot of little things to do that could take a long time to complete. Basically at this point everything worries me. This is going to be very short because it is Saturday and I still have to complete my draft of references and I am still not completely finished with my PowerPoint presentation so I need to work on that some more. Basically I have a very busy day ahead of me.
