This past week I did not do much work for this class. I was waiting for my comp0uter to arrive so I could use it to do all of my work on. Well, the computer still is not here so I ended up doing all of my assignment from week two today. I have been looking at week three assignment and have read a lot of the things and I am putting my ideas together so I will know what I want to do. I went ahead and did the discussion part of the assignments so I have some things out of the way for this week. The discussion part is one of my favorite parts of the class. I like to be able to discuss things in my own was without any regard to aspects need to get a good grade on it. I guess it is just free writing with a purpose. I have been thinking about what I should use as a topic for my multigenre research project, how can I use my area of interest as a good idea for this project.

This past week was not to stressful; of course it always helps to start the week off with a day off. Not only did I not have school, I also did not have to work and that always makes me happy. I however was not able to just sit at home and relax. Luke and I started off the day by heading to Lowe’s and buying 2x4’s and insulation (fun,fun). Once we got home we hung sheet rock all day long. I also had to go to the Rose Tree this week and pay on my wedding dress. This was very exciting because my tiara had finally come in and it was beautiful, it had to be special ordered to match the jewels in my necklace. They both match my dress perfectly. I did some of the homework that I need to this week; I am trying very hard not to let things pile up on me. I am doing pretty good so far except for my computer problems and finding one to do my homework for this class on. Also I have very good news about my computer situation. I ordered a new Dell computer and scanner, which I am supposed to have on or before this Friday. This is very exciting news for me I love getting new computers. The even better news is that my Mom and Dad are paying for it so I don’t have to. They said they would all use it so they will buy it. So, when I get married I will have to buy a new one. The only thing better than one new computer is two new computers, I am thrilled. Also there is officially nine months from yesterday (9-7-02) until the big wedding day. All in all I guess I have had a pretty exciting week. It isn’t every week that a girl gets and new computer and a new tiara.

Here we go again back to school, and it seems as if we just got out for the summer. I have to say that I was really dreading this semester. I have heard such horrible things about it. Right now I am pretty stressed because I am having such technical difficulties and I don’t exactly have my own computer right now. Plus it is always hard to get yourself back to a schedule that allows your time to be managed. I always worry about the fact that I have to work on top of trying to get all of my school work finished.
I might sound like a complete loser but I am really excited about this class. It is fun to learn how to do completely new and unknown things. I have always thought it would be neat to have my own web page but I had no idea how to go about even beginning to create one. Now I have a blog and I am getting ready to publish my first entry. I always have a hard time trying to think of what to say, I worry if it is right or if it sounds bad.
This past week I did more things on the computer than I have ever done in my life, the directions made it very simple though. I was worried about being able to do the assignments on time so I went ahead and did most of the assignment because I knew I had to work this weekend. This is the first thing I have done that I actually had to think and reflect on thought so it is very hard to get my brain working again. I only wish that I had the joy for writing that Heather has, it would make things much easier for me, I am definitely and math and science person more than a creative writer. I hope that I can become a better writer through this class along with learning how to do some interesting things on my computer.
